FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Best is public transit, but there is decent street parking in the neighborhood near the North Spaulding St. Entrance to the 606. We’ll meet at the top of the ramp!

Important: this is a one way tour. Participants are expected to walk, bike or rideshare back to their cars, or their next destination.

Will bad weather cancel the event?

It’s possible, but unlikely. We will send out an email canceling ONLY if its raining and below 45 degrees! Otherwise, dress for fun outdoors!

What can I bring into the event?

Warm clothes and comfy walking shoes, that’s it! We’ll have guides from The Trust for Public Land, and The Chicago Park District.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can email Kyle Macdonald, from Outdoors Empowered Network, at kyle@outdoorsempowered.org or text or call 415-516-9919
