Join students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago by participating in a New Monuments for New Cities art-making activity. Design and create your very own monument at a pop-up art-making location in the parks and green spaces along The 606. Check out The 606 Facebook page (link this to the new FB Album: New Monuments for New Cities Pop-up)to see how people of all ages and backgrounds are rethinking monumentality in the 21st century!

Pop-ups will take place intermittently throughout the run of the New Monuments for New Cities exhibition, ending on October 27. On your next visit to the 606, be on the lookout for colorful announcements written in chalk along the trail, tables with markers and crayons, and a clothesline displaying creative artworks.
