Julia de Burgos Park Under Construction

Julia de Burgos Park is located at 1805 N. Albany Avenue and serves the western end of the Bloomingdale Trail, the heart of The 606. The Chicago Park District is rebuilding the slope at the south end of the park, planting rosa rugosa and placing boulders at the bottom to help retain soil. The park will remain open during construction, but please be mindful of workers moving through the space. Once the work is completed the slope will be fenced off for the remainder of the year to help the plants establish.
